We appreciate your patronage! La Harpe Video & Data Services Co., Inc. Your hometown provider of HIGH SPEED INTERNET & quality television programming. 2.8.2011 A pdf of the Illinois State Access Tariff is now available in the notices and tariff section. 1.12.2011 La Harpe Telephone Company, Inc. would like everyone of our customers to be aware of the latest attempt at telemarketers to contact our customers. Most people know about the 000-000-0000 and 999-999-9999 numbers used by telemarketers showing up on their displays. Many telemarketers now are disguising their true caller ID and substituting a ficticious number that appears to be a local one such as 217-659-5692. Most long time customers know that the last four digits of La Harpe numbers begin with 3, 7, or 8. As they have become more sophisticated, telemarketers have figured out to use legitimate numbers which will also generate the appropriate customer's name. At the present time, there is no way to block this marketing tactic. If you are disturbed by this practice, please contact your elected representatives, the Federal Trade Commission or the Federal Communications Commission and let them know your concerns. Thank you, 10.30.2009 La Harpe Video & Data wishes to inform all their subscribers about the following changes in our channel lineup: FX Channel was moved from channel #26 to channel #309. E! was moved from channel #27 to channel #356. This re-alignment was done to accomodate adding Fox Business channel to #26 as soon as receivers are in place. In addition, ESPNU has been added to channel #34. Thank you for your continued support and we appologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. 8.13.2009 Attention all internet customers with Winco email accounts!
